What happens to your information when you use BananaNano Art, and how to reach us about it.

AT A GLANCE

Generating an image sends your prompt and any reference images to Google’s Gemini API. The studio has no saved image history. Download results before you leave, and avoid submitting sensitive or confidential information.

1. Overview

This policy covers BananaNano Art at banananano.art, including its image generation and editing studio. References to “we,” “us,” and “our” mean the operator of BananaNano Art. For privacy questions, contact support@banananano.art.

BananaNano Art is independent of Google. Our service relies on external providers, whose own data practices are described below.

2. Information we process

  • Generation content. Your prompt, selected reference images, output settings, and generated result are processed to fulfill the request. Selecting an image prepares it in your browser; it is submitted for generation when you activate the generate control.
  • Technical information. Hosting and security services may process your IP address, browser information, request times, response status, and verification signals to deliver and protect the website. Model usage information, such as token counts, accompanies generation responses.
  • Messages you send. If you email us, we receive your email address, any name you provide, the message, and any attachments. We use these to respond to your question or concern.

The current studio does not offer user accounts or collect payment details. We do not sell your personal information or use your prompts and images for advertising.

3. AI processing

Our server forwards your generation content to Google’s Gemini API and returns the result to your browser. Using a result as a reference for another edit sends that image with the new instructions.

Google’s treatment of prompts and responses depends on the applicable service terms and billing arrangement. Its terms distinguish paid and unpaid services, including whether content may be used to improve its products. Google may also retain content for safety and abuse prevention. Review the Gemini API Additional Terms and Google Privacy Policy.

Do not submit passwords, identity documents, financial or medical records, confidential business material, or other sensitive information. Upload images of other people only when you have the necessary permission.

4. Storage and retention

The studio holds selected references and generated images in the current browser page. It does not provide a cloud image library, public gallery, or account history. Leaving or refreshing the page can clear your work; downloaded files remain on your device until you delete them.

Our application does not intentionally store prompts or image files in a database or object storage, or write their contents to application logs. They are handled temporarily while a request is processed. This does not mean that our infrastructure or AI providers retain no information; their processing and retention follow their applicable terms.

Support correspondence may remain in our mailbox while we handle your request and when needed for follow-up, security, or legal obligations. You can ask us to delete correspondence when it is no longer required.

5. External services and browser requests

Google Gemini

Processes prompts and reference images to create results. See the Gemini API terms for its data handling.

Cloudflare

Provides website hosting and request delivery. Where enabled, Turnstile processes browser and security signals to help prevent automated abuse. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy and Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

Google Fonts

The website loads fonts from Google. Those requests expose connection information, including an IP address, to Google. See Google’s font privacy explanation.

This version does not include advertising pixels or a visitor analytics tool. Hosting and security providers may use cookies or similar mechanisms for their operational purposes. Your browser settings control how these are handled, but blocking them may affect functionality.

These providers may process information in countries other than your own. Links to external websites are governed by those websites’ own policies.

6. Your choices and requests

You choose what to submit. You can remove reference images before generating, stop using the studio, and delete downloaded files from your own device. Clearing the page does not undo a request already sent to an external provider.

Depending on the laws that apply to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. Email support@banananano.art with your request. We may need limited additional information to verify it and respond.

We can only act on information within our control. We cannot recover an unsaved browser-session image or directly change another provider’s records. If your concern relates to an external provider, its linked privacy notice explains how to contact it.

7. Age requirements

The service is intended for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through this service, contact us so we can investigate and address information within our control.

8. Updates and contact

We may update this policy when the service or its data practices change. The date above identifies the latest version. Material changes will be described on the website when applicable.
